Tour & Luncheon at the Historic Bullock's Wilshire Building

Description

The Bullock's Wilshire building, completed and opened in 1929, was designed in the Art Deco style by the renowned Los Angeles architects John and Donald Parkinson and conceived by business partners John G. Bullock and P.G. Winnett. This historic building operated as Bullock's flagship luxury department store for more than 60 years. In 1994, Southwestern Law School purchased the Art Deco landmark and set out to convert it into a dynamic academic venue, while retaining its historic character. We'll tour this amazing Los Angeles landmark and take in all it's notable Art Deco details while understanding how it has transformed into a cutting-edge scholastic and professional building for Southwestern Law School.
